"You dropped something little one!" Exclaimed a mysterious figure
Scarlet jumped in fright, "Wh, wh, why thank you sir."
"This place is unforgiving for young 'uns like yourself"
Scarlet huffed, "I can hold my own weight, thank you very much!"
"Hmf!" grunted the stranger
Scarlet proceeded deeper into the forest, compelled by a force that has driven her thus far. The forest grew darker, Scarlet felt uneasy. Farther into the grove she ventured, her bones chilled by the distant echoes of wolves, her energy drained from her travels.
A loud noise of fallen branches breaking under a boot behind her led her to realise that she was being followed.
"Reveal yourself stranger!" she shouted
The footsteps came near her.
She knew one thing...
She was not safe, so she ran.
Plundering across the forests' undergrowth, across the mossy roots she let out all the energy she had left.
She had realized that the footsteps had stopped.
Scarlet was in even greater peril than before.
She had gone too far.
"There is no turning back now!" she thought to herself
There was a house in the distance, the light broke through the surrounding.
"This is where I must go!" Scarlet gasped
She slowly approached the place, it grew bigger as she approached.
Scarlet walked up to the big wooden door and knocked.
It opened suddenly!
"Yes?" asked the lady of the house, a look of bewilderment on her face
Scarlet gasped, "Trick or Treat!"
